What you’re trying to capture is the TRUE essence/expression/attitude/posture that SCREAMS your loved one!". Everyday when my husband leaves for work the kids have made it a tradition to sit by our front porch window, and when Daddy drives away from our home they wave goodbye and blow kisses to one another. Many times the kids are sad that Daddy has to go to work. Here is our son's expression right after Daddy left. This is a typical frown by James when he is sad or mad about something, frown lines above the brows, and sad puppy eyes.
