joy of luck: day 02: green

 

This is my 046.365 photo. Eleven posts back I shared an alternate view of this new hibiscus plant. But today's theme is, "Green is also symbolically the color for newness, new beginnings, spring and life.  Today I want you to find the green..".I chose this shot to show spring and life because of the deep greens in the hibiscus plant, and the greens you see sprouting in the background on are dormant grass. I also love how Penny Lane is laying in the grass too!

This is my 035.365 photo. Like I said in the post before this one, I went with the yellow hibiscus plant. I love how the yellow flowers have a red center. So beautiful! I put the plant in the lovely pot Mom and Dad Spence bought us for our front porch along with our rocking chairs. I love Springtime.

034.365: which one?

This is my 034.365 photo. I took this photo with my phone camera because I didn't have my regular camera in my purse, so the quality isn't that great. But I was picking up groceries at HEB and I couldn't pass up picking up one of these gorgeous hibiscus plants! They had these bright red ones, as well as some yellow/red ones. I couldn't decide. Growing up my parents had and still have a huge hibiscus plant in their yard and it blooms yellow/red flowers - so I went with that one. :)
