068.365-071.365: Catching Up!

This is my 068.365 photo. I had this feeling I was behind on my daily photos, so I put a counter on this blog so I know how many days it's been since day 01. I was two behind so this post is making up for it. Stephen brought these home from work - the kids love them! Who wouldn't love a pen that you could also blow bubbles with and hang around your neck? :)

This is my 069.365 photo. We only own one car, we sold our other one a few years ago when Stephen got the job with Hertz and his car perk. So we have our 1997 Sentra. My parents helped me buy this when I got accepted to the university and needed a reliable car to commute in. Hard to believe it's 14 years old now (but definitely showing it's age with paint chipping off under the license plate). But it still runs great and gets awesome gas mileage.

This is my 070.365 photo. The kids were riding their bikes out in the culdesac. Penny just wanted to lay down on our front porch.

This is my 071.365 photo (all caught up!). I just love how colorful this photo is. My silly kids.

joy of luck: day 05: what brings you luck/blessings

This is my 049.365 photo. Today's theme is, "What in your life has brought you the most luck or blessings? When, in your life, do you believe that your life became filled with luck, blessings and joy?". August 2009, we finally fulfilled our dream and goal of owning our own home. You see a home isn't just a structure built of concrete, wood, brick, stone and shingles - it's a place you can make your own, and make joyful memories. We were always able to make joyful memories in the homes and apartments we rented before - but we were never able to make it our own. Getting this home that summer was such a blessing to our family.
